True to hockey tradition world wide, the club is about more than just hockey. If you grew up with hockey you know it is a fantastic way to meet like minded folks and build up a social network in a new city. Dubai Hockey Club proudly upholds that tradition, we play as hard off the field as we do on the field.

There is usually a group keen to go for a drink after training. We most almost always have a get together after Friday's sessions. Every few weeks, our fantastic social secretary plans a social event for the club. Some of the things we have done recently include days out at the beach, visits to local water parks, cruises around the Palm Islands, posh camping in the desert as well as dinners and birthdays.

Annual events include the club Christmas party (normally black-tie) and the ever popular Captain's 100 fancy dress up party.
